Redmine Privacy Browser Android - Bug #1183 (New): Unten scrollen, wischen funktioniert nichthttps://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/11832024-03-25T08:39:20ZChungaa Boy

Privacy Browser PC - Bug #821 (In Progress): Website loading reverts to the current site if the u...https://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/8212022-03-23T22:12:36ZSoren Stoutnersoren@stoutner.com

When toggling thw proxy setting to TOR in PB notification "waiting for Orbot to connect" appears and can be removed by clicking anywhere else on the screen, but pops up again if you leave-return to PB. Orbot is running. And PB is being routed through TOR, I can tell by WebRTC leak being fixed.

Also interesting observation. WebRTC leak still happens when rules in Netguard are not applied to PB and/or allowed for current devices connection.

So to fix the WebRTC leak PB has to have TOR toggled on, and be blocked in Netguard.
Privacy Browser PC - Bug #799 (In Progress): The zoom factor momentarily resets to 1.0 every time...https://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/7992022-01-28T02:40:36ZSoren Stoutnersoren@stoutner.com

This is due to a bug in QtWebEngine. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-51992
Privacy Browser Android - Feature #631 (Feedback): Undo a closed tabhttps://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/6312020-10-08T19:40:08ZGNU User

When closing a tab (which can happen by accident) a message could appear stating "Tab was closed" and have an undo button. Similar to what Firefox has. I didn't find a ticket opened for this, if it's a duplicate I apologize.
Privacy Browser Android - Feature #442 (New): Use the blocklists to modify page elementshttps://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/4422019-05-15T16:24:19ZSoren Stoutnersoren@stoutner.com

1. Set Privacy Browser to use WebView Default as the user agent.
2. Create a domain setting for github.com that uses `PrivacyBrowser/1.0` as the user agent.

When loading GitHub via normal means the desktop version is presented based on detection of the user agent. However, when loading GitHub via a URL shortener, like tinyurl.com/y99jqpfo, the domain settings are applied, but it appears they take effect after the user agent has already been sent to the server. So the mobile version is loaded.
Privacy Browser Android - Feature #384 (New): Verify accessibility designhttps://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/3842019-02-15T23:31:34ZSoren Stoutnersoren@stoutner.com

This is functionality that I haven't quite seen yet in a mobile browser, but it does exist in desktop browsers (such as Vivaldi). Allow the user to define multiple custom search engines, and provide each with a shortcut so when you search for something, you can type the shortcut followed by the search criteria.

For example, define search engines (or actual search URLs, however necessary) as so:

Google g
Startpage s
Bing b
Duckduckgo ddg

Then type search criteria such as:

"g Portland, Oregon" - searches for "Portland, Oregon" using Google
"ddg search engines" - searches for "search engines" using Duckduckgo

I don't know how easy this would be to implement in a mobile browser, but in Vivaldi, you just give a friendly name, the URL, and a shortcut.
Privacy Browser Android - Bug #56 (In Progress): The number of options menu action buttons are no...https://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/562016-08-30T02:41:01ZSoren Stoutnersoren@stoutner.com
