Error downloading from some emails

Description

I receive an error when attempting to donwnload an attachment from an email on protonmail and gmail. When turning on setting "download with external app" i receive a response "No app can perform this action". Problem observed only with Protonmail and Gmail.

Everywhere else downloading works smoothly, either using PB downloader or external.

Tried to disable/enable system download manager - same results.

Screenshots attached.

Updated PB to 3.9 - problem persists.

Downloading with an external app does not work with downloads that require a login cookie, as explained at https://www.stoutner.com/privacy-browser-3-8/.

Note that, when downloading with an external app, proxy settings will not be honored and it will not be possible to download from websites that require a login as cookie information is not passed to the external app.
