Thinking about your comment on #65, are you thinking you would like the option to force all bookmarks to be displayed alphabetically? If that were the case, then new bookmarks would automatically sort into that alphabetical list.

Or, are you thinking that bookmarks would initially display alphabetically, but that users could override that through manual positioning? In that case, new bookmarks would attempt to insert themselves alphabetically into lists that might or might not be fully alphabetized.

Yah. You're right. There's some mismatch in my feature request. I couldn't find a middleground between forced alphanumeric sorting and manual reordering, as one goes against another.

The current situation feels okay.

If this is implemented somehow, then bookmark ordering should supposed to be scrapped. Then user supposed to use ASCII order to name their bookmarks, such as preceding period . to move your favorites to the top.

This has been implemented in Feature #1142: Add an option to sort bookmarks alphabetically. It will be part of the next Privacy Browser Android release.
