https://piped.video (the official piped instance) doesn't work when a link is opened to a new tab. Not just piped.video, but all public piped instances behave the same.

Is this website issue or the browser? On other wrapper browsers this doesn't happen btw.

This is a problem with Piped's programming. You can see the following in the log:

[ 03-30 15:45:23.219 1451: 1451 I/chromium ]
[INFO:CONSOLE] "The FetchEvent for "https://piped.video/watch?v=EOqw86OGIB0" resulted in a network error response: a redirected response was used for a request whose redirect mode is not "follow".", source: (0)

You get the same effect if you manually type any piped.video URL with `watch?`. I would recommend you file a but report with them.
