Description

Hello,

I have a couple bookmarks all belonging to the same domain. From times to times, that domain is changed, and I have to edit each bookmark. I would like to suggest a batch to do so. Example:

Button on the bookmarks menu open dialogue box:
Edit all bookmarks from domain: domain.com (user entered domain)
To domain: newdomain.com (again a user entered value)

Result, all bookmarks that matched domain.com would become newdomain.com Example:
domain.com/xx/yy -> newdomain.com/xx/yy
xxx.domain.com -> xxx.newdomain.com

Thanks.

This is an extremely uncommon use case. Not many websites change domain name on a frequent basis.

I am not opposed to such a feature, but I am unlikely to implement it unless there are a number of users who would benefit from it. I will leave the feature request open and see how many other people comment saying that it would be useful to them.

I think it would be so difficult to implement this in a way that would be useful, and so few people would ever use it, that I am going to close out this feature request. If users do need to do a batch update, they can export Privacy Browser's settings and make batch changes to the SQLite file that contains the bookmarks.
