Description

Since updating to version 3.5 via Google Play, PrivacyBrowser is no longer loading websites when I force it to use the "light" (old default) system theme. The WebView theme used seems to have no effect on this.

When switching to the dark theme and leaving the "Settings" overview, it starts opening/loading websites again.

My device is a Samsung S5 (klte) running LineageOS 16.0 from around early or mid August. I use WebView 84.0.4147.125, which I've installed from Google Play and enabled in the developer settings as default render engine.
