Consider inverting the order of the navigation menu when the app bar is at the bottom of the screen
I considered doing this when I created the bottom app bar option, but I deferred, because the navigation menu initially opens scrolled to the top. On smaller devices, that means that the bottom entries would not be displayed until the navigation menu is scrolled up. This would mean that the most important entries would not initially be visible.
However, on consideration, I realized that almost no newer devices have a screen so small that the navigation menu needs scrolling. For example, my Pixel 5 can display the whole menu. Smaller devices, like my old Nexus 4 (which just finally died) could not display it.
