Notified while in Airplane Mode

A 'You are connected to a secure network' notification by Privacy Cell app pops up for 2nd time in last hour since it has been installed. But the device is in airplane mode, with no sim card ever installed. In the app it says device does not appear to be connected. See log if it helps.

The cell log is not very helpful in this case. It really is only helpful in determining the cause of a crash. It is specifically designed not to log anything about your cell phone connection.

What you want in this case is a screenshot of the network connections. These are what determines if the connection is secure or not. For example, see the attached screenshot showing a NR-5G connection, which is marked as secure.

Note that Privacy Cell also considers no connection to be secure, because there is no way that anyone can perform an IMSI stingray attack on your device if it has no connection, like in airplane mode. It would be possible to create a separate notification channel for "no connection" vs. "secure connection", but for what Privacy Cell is trying to accomplish they end up being the same thing.
