Unfortunately, even the linked original document:
Doesn't provide any real information about how effective the CSS is against 5G-NR-SA. Possibly all it can do it pass the encrypted data on to the real cell tower. If that is the case, then it isn't any more effective than passively sniffing 5G-NR-SA traffic.
