Feature #1292
closedAllow storing of username/password for proxy

Description
Currently, when using a proxy that requires credentials, Privacy Browser gives me a popup asking for the credentials. The popup does integrate with password managers which is nice, but often after entering the credentials and hitting "PROCEED" the browser just doesn't seem to attempt loading the page at all and I have to refresh multiple times (entering in the credentials every single time) to get it to load the page using the proxy.
It would be great if we could just store proxy credentials in the settings next to the host:port.

"Android’s ProxyConfig does not support authentication because it is primarily designed for using proxies hosted on the local device. In other words, Privacy Browser Android cannot use proxies that require usernames and passwords."

Based on your description, it sounds like your proxy is returning a webpage that contains a form where you can type your authentication information. That is definitely non-standard proxy behavior, but you are welcome to use it if it works for you.
Privacy Browser intentionally does not include any sort of password manager that can automatically fill out web forms.
