This happens when first enabling Proxy through Orbot and then closing settings.

The solution to this problem is to disable the wide viewport while the waiting for Orbot message is displayed.

There are two slight imperfections in doing so. 1) The waiting for Orbot text will shrink slightly when a website begins to load. 2) If a webpage lays out different with wide viewport enabled, the first webpage layout after the waiting for Orbot message will jump when the page finishes loading.
