This would make it more prominent. Also, it would mean that users on small screens would not have to scroll to select it, which is a considerable selling point to me.

There might be some users who would not like the change. Specifically, I am wondering if someone might accidentally select Clear and Exit when opening the menu from the app bar icon. But I don't currently have problems myself with accidentally selecting the Home item, so I would guess it wouldn't be that big a deal.
