Description

If you have a web page open, you can go to the menu and select Page - Share.
However, what if one wants to share the link before opening it (in a search engine page for example)? Long-pressing the link could also include the "share" option.

I admit I am not sure if the "open with app" option causes the same behavior since I didn't test this extensively, but I suspect there are differences.

I have a hard time imagining wanting to share a URL with someone before looking at it myself.

And long pressing a link and then selecting Share URL (two steps) isn't significantly more than tapping on a link, opening the options menu, selecting share, and then selecting Share URL (4 steps). You can also select Copy URL from the existing context menu and pasting that into the app of your choice if you desire.

If this were a common action I would consider adding it to the context menu. But seeing as how it wouldn't be used by most users, and that I have already received a request to make the context menus shorter (see attached screenshot) I think it unlikely I would add this.
