For example, open the bookmarks activity. Restart the app by changing the theme. Go back to the main activity.

Possibly what needs to be done is to hide the main interface elements while it is displayed.

Also, three might be some way to use view models to prevent the need to reload the blocklists. https://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/597.
