Feature #996
openFull screen browsing mode doesn't work right in GNOME
0%
Description
For some reason, entering full screen browsing mode (by pressing F11, Ctrl-Shift-F, or from the View menu) on GNOME causes the screen to flicker and the window to not be drawn correctly. This is likely some conflict between the KDE 5 Framework and GNOME. Testing was only done on Wayland, so it might work correctly on X11. In any case, this is likely a problem that sorts itself out over time with updates to KDE Framework and GNOME. If it doesn't take care of itself, especially with the switch to KDE 6, I will dig into it deeper.

On Ubuntu 24.04 it goes black (with only the cursor visible), Wayland session. The behaviour is in this toot:

Privacy Browser uses KDE's default full screen command.
My guess is that this problem will resolve itself when Privacy Browser is rebased on KDE 6, which I will start working on as soon as KDE 6 is the default in Debian testing. My guess is that KDE 6 has better Wayland support and otherwise works better with current versions of GNOME.
