Description
I would love if privacy browser would get a progressive web app support, so I can save a webpage as web app to my home screen, where I then can open it like a native app, so it doesn't have any browser menu bars, just the content. Like the full screen browsing, but without having to double-tap.

I think it is unlikely I will implement PWA support, because, as described at https://www.stoutner.com/privacy-browser/core-privacy-principles/, one of my fundamental beliefs is that the browser should be a client, not a platform. Making PWAs work would involve a whole bunch of things that I am going to remove from Privacy Browser as soon as Privacy WebView is implemented in the 4.x series.
However, you should note that I am planning to add support for web archives in https://redmine.stoutner.com/issues/188, which will allow the saving of web pages for later offline reading.
