Description
Hey,
maybe it makes sense to ad another back-button in the right bookmark menu.
When I navigate into an folder the only way to come back to the first bookmark page is the back button in the upper left corner. On big smartphones it's complicated.
My idea is to implement the android back button that we also use to navigate back in the browser.
An other option is to make a new floating button with to go back.
Maybe this feature will make the browser a little bit more efficient.
Best regards
Il

If you would like to have the navigation button on the bottom, you can already accomplish that by enabling the bottom app bar in the settings.
Hey, I don't want to put the whole navigation bar at the bottom. Then everything is at the bottom. I just want a back button like in the Screenshoot before when I'm in a bookmarks folder. The back button in the bookmark folder is just at the top of the screen.
Additional information, when I open a bookmark folder and open a site the bookmark menu is closing. When I open the bookmark menu again the folder is still open so you have to push the back button on the top to see the other bookmarks.
Isn't it possible to implement the androids back button to go back in the bookmark menu?

I am not inclined to put two back arrows on the bookmarks drawer as that would clutter the interface and remove one visible bookmark from the list, which would degrade the experience for all users.
All the navigation buttons are either on the top of the screen or the bottom of the screen based on the user's selection in the settings. It doesn't make any sense to me to split them so that some are on the top and others on the bottom.

That is the intended design. When a user enters a bookmark folder, it should stay in that folder until they navigate out. That way, it makes it easy to go back and open other bookmarks in that folder.

It is possible, but I don't think that is the desired behavior. The system back button should close the bookmarks drawer leaving it in the current folder for easy future access. The same thing in the bookmarks activity, where the system back button exits back to the main activity without changing the folder.
I suggest that when bookmark tab is shown, hardware back button should work to go back in the directory or close bookmark tab if user is at bookmarks root folder.

This can be done by sliding bookmarks drawer to close it.
I consider the current behavior to be the correct and desired behavior. However, if enough users were to comment on this feature request and desire the change you recommend, I would be amenable to considering it.
