unuseable gestures on Android 11

Since Android 9/10 gesture navigation is the standard navigation style, so the PB gestures are unuseable (swiping left for bookmarks, swiping right for settings).
Solution:
swiping on top and bottom of the screen = Android standard backwards gesture
swiping in the middle of the screen = PB gestures (bookmarks and settings)
I hope there will be space and time in your roadmap for that.

I have specifically designed Privacy Browser to work with Android gesture navigation and have been using it on my own devices with gesture navigation enabled for years.
Specifically, in standard Android, if you hold your finger at the edge for a second, the drawer will peak out. Then you can open the drawer without triggering the back gesture (see attached video).
I have found that on devices with curved screens (like my Pixel 2 XL) and certain cases it is hard to get your finger into the correct position to trigger the drawer peak. Also, some ROMs modify this behavior so it doesn't work correctly. For both of those cases, it is possible to open the drawers without using gestures. The navigation drawer on the left can be opened using the hamburger menu. And the bookmarks drawer on the right can be opened from the options menu.

Workaround to escape the gesture - Added by ask low 6 months ago
The workaround here, is to slide diagonally from sides (>45⁰), which negates the gesture and brings side menus.

This is an Android system gesture, so if you have any recommendations on how it could be improved you should submit them directly to Google. If you prefer to not use the gesture you can open the bookmarks drawer from the options menu instead.

Yup. Although workaround is very easy. Just sliding cross sectionally from edges avoid back gesture and brings drawers. Applicable on both sides (left(nav drawer) & right (bookmarks drawer)).

That workaround is nice, and something I hadn't noticed before. However, it doesn't appear to work well on every device.
For example, it works well on my Pixel 5 running Android 14, but it doesn't work reliably on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 running Android 12.

Yup. Because as OneUI is a skinned fork of AOSP, they probably modified system elements to such an extent by replacing most of the core stock android with their proprietary code. I believe all 3rd party android skins that exist on this earth do this too.
