Auto insert data into forms
Added by Thomas Jensen over 1 year ago
Something I miss in Privacy Browser is auto-fill into forms. I have used Privacy Browser for a long time, but lately I have been using Opera for Android more and more. Yes, I know it sends data back about me, but it also let me save credit card, passwords and personal data (name, address, phone number, etc.), and insert them into forms. I don't know how dangerous that is, but it really makes shopping from the phone much faster.
Would it be possible to have (some of?) these data stored and ready to be inserted into forms, without web sites being able to steal them in Privacy Browser? Maybe you could let PB ask the user for permission to insert the data every time? And maybe let it require a password first?

Thanks for posting on the forum.
This functionality is actually already available using Android’s autofill system as described at the bottom of https://www.stoutner.com/privacy-browser-2-11/.
